Abstract

PT. Bali International Technology or PT. BIT is engaged in the software house sector, especially in consulting services for national banking businesses, in monitoring the production progress of the application project, PT. BIT is still monitoring by making reports on Excel, resulting in a need for progress report data management and transparent information regarding project progress. This also results in frequent misunderstandings between programmers and customers regarding the progress details. This study aims to build an information system for monitoring the progress of application work between customers and programmers. This system will monitor all project progress undertaken by PT. BIT makes reporting and monitoring progress more accessible, and detailed information on progress and project management becomes evident. The system design model used in this study is the waterfall model and UML (Unified Modeling Language) design. The results of this study are a monitoring system with the main features of managing user data, managing projects, managing project items/modules, item change history, and generating reports and notifications via email. System testing in this study was carried out using black box testing and obtaining the test results by the functional specifications needed by the company.
